ZTEIST, operated by LEADING INTERNATIONAL CO., LIMITED, takes your personal information and privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

• Account information: your email, nickname, password (stored as a hash only), and Google account identifier.
• Profile information: structured tags such as name, country, years at ZTE, department, and more.
• Contact information (optional): WeChat, phone, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.
• Attribution information: the invite code you used and your referrer relationship.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide colleague search and networking (the core of the platform)
• To facilitate supply/demand, job, and project matching
• For referral attribution
• For account security and compliance

3. Privacy Tiers

• Public profile fields (name, country, years at ZTE, department, and other structured tags) — visible to logged-in members, so old colleagues can find you and understand your background.
• Contact information (WeChat, phone, LinkedIn, WhatsApp) — visible by tier: verified members, same-department colleagues, and platform administrators; for overseas members, their contact information is visible to members in the same country.

4. Information Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell or exchange your personal information.

We only use third-party services where necessary to provide the platform: Google (one-tap sign-in), Resend (verification-code emails), and Cloudflare (CDN).

5. Data Security

• Passwords are stored as scrypt hashes — never in plain text
• All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS
• Data is stored on our own servers

6. Your Rights

• View and correct your profile
• Delete your account; after deletion we retain your data for 180 days before permanently removing it
• Contact us about any privacy concern

7. Cookies and Local Storage

• We use browser local storage (localStorage) to keep you signed in
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers

8. Applicable Law

This policy is governed by the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) of Mainland China; overseas users are also covered by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
